Technology is a great educational tool and a tremendous resource to teachers.
Professional development activities will need to be done to reach the teachers and let them know how these tools can be used.
The state accountability program has put an emphasis on using technology in the classroom.
Also the Grade Level Expectation's require technology to be incorporated into every subject area. This has made teachers re-evaluate the way they teach.
Teachers feel that the fun has been taken out of education because of all the accountability and stress.
Technology is a great way to put fun back into learning for the students and teachers.
It will be meaningful to the students and the teachers will be able to become more of a facilitator.
